After Care

Hair Colour Aftercare
Avoid washing your hair immediately: Wait at least 48 hours after your colour treatment before washing your hair. This helps the color settle and last longer.

Use Salon Quality / sulphate-free shampoos. Sulphates can strip colour from your hair. Look for gentle, sulphate-free formulas designed for colour-treated hair.

Cool water rinses: When you do wash your hair, use lukewarm or cool water to help preserve colour.

Deep conditioning: Colour-treated hair can become dry, so incorporate a nourishing deep conditioner or hair mask once a week to keep your hair moisturised and shiny.

Use heat protection

Book in for regular trims and toner appointments to keep the hair healthy and colour looking fresh without unwanted tones.

Protect from sun exposure: UV rays can cause color to fade faster. Consider using products with UV protection or wear a hat when out in the sun for extended periods.

Haircuts and Styling Aftercare

Trim regularly: To keep your haircut looking fresh, schedule regular trims every 6-8 weeks to avoid split ends and maintain shape.

Use heat protectants: Before styling with heat tools (flat iron, curling iron, blow dryer), always apply a heat protectant to prevent damage.

Gentle detangling: Use a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush to gently remove knots without causing breakage. Start from the tips and work your way up to the roots.

Maintain hydration: Regularly use a nourishing conditioner or leave-in conditioner to keep hair moisturised, especially if you frequently use styling tools.

Hair Treatment Aftercare

Use sulphate-free products: Sulphates can break down keratin, so opt for keratin-safe, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners.

Keratin Treatment only -Don’t wash for 72 hours: Allow the treatment to fully bond to the hair before washing. Avoid any moisture or humidity during this time.

Avoid tight hairstyles: Refrain from tying your hair into tight buns or ponytails for the first few days to maintain the smoothness of the treatment.

No swimming or excessive sweating: Keep your hair dry and free from chlorinated water and sweat for the first 72 hours to prevent the treatment from washing out.
